Year 4 have been learning about Ancient Greece.

Year 4 have been learning about Ancient Greece.

As part of this term’s topic on Ancient Greece, Year 4 have been learning about the twelve labours of Heracles in preparation for writing a 13th labour in which Heracles will encounter a creature that they have invented. They have plenty of ideas they can draw on after hearing about the many-headed Hydra and the vicious Mares of King Diomedes, among other creatures. Sharing any Greek myths you know or reading them with your children would be a great way to support their learning in this topic.
